This was Kippo's first ever restoration and he has provided the script .
"This chair was given to me in the hope that it could be restored. I took it to Alex and he said that this was easy but would involve a lot of elbow grease....and he was right. Having dismantled the chair completely and marked every item, it was then glued together with rabbit glue and reassembled. Then came the many coats of French Polish and waxing. The result was stunning, and I am very grateful for the experience."
"There was one essential piece missing, but true to form Alex decided that a piece of Holly would be the right colour and thus I made a piece from scratch to fit.
Below is the finished product and as one can see, the difference is absolutely amazing."
